The big idea for the design

after research a few symbol of wisdom and smartness or metaphor to represent smart/intelligence. The result is, glass, owl, light bulb and many more.

Study on the definition of Cubism

Because of lacking time, I just immediately thought of the idea of using just one big wallpaper image and play around with cropping it into pages and moves around the big picture as part of the transition.

Precedent Studies on website designs

The samples of web design below are the previously design samples that I have studied on before getting into design. But due to my lack of experience and knowledge in web design. I have chose to do flash website as I am more familiar with flash , to be honest.

My initially plan of taking website design as my fyp was because I previously planned to have a friend to guide and teach me and also serve as a new challenge for me and to adapt a new skill. But due to time constraints and lost of art direction and also my friend was busy, I just end up working on flash website.

Concept Board & Precedent Studies
The initial design idea was just trying to do simplicity and modern and yet able to give the smartness presence on playing the simple shapes and designs.
As studies continue further after consultation with lecturers, we found that cubism art will be a good idea to not just simply use some simple shapes to represent smartness but something much deeper or iconic characteristic to represent smartness. The creator of cubism art is a genius and thus, the decision has been made to do Cubism designs but in a much cleaner or less traditional feel.
